透紫外滤光片的玻璃分为透紫外线黑色玻璃和透紫外线白色玻璃两种。透紫外线黑色玻璃具有良好的透紫外线，它分长波、短波，其型号分别为ZWB1、ZWB2、ZWB3（254nm\310nm\365nm）。透紫外线白色玻璃是一种无色截止型玻璃，波长在220NM-380NM范围内，透过率大于或等于89.5%。同时能滤掉（吸收）可见光。主要用于地质勘测、无损检测、医用分析仪器、紫外灯光源滤色片。
